20 parrots and 2 dogs share a home here at BoBo's Bed & Breakfast. Their mom, Cindi, has adopted all of them except BoBo, a parrot bought in a pet shop. Our philosophy here is to take care of God's Creatures, and educate people on how to care for parrots as pets. We hope to do this by sharing our own experiences on our blog and in our many photos. Promoting parrot conservation in the wild is another one of our enthusiastic missions. Please check out the the World Parrot Trust at www.parrots.org. I have 2 beautiful patagonians (Marlowe and Teaguen), who have both taken up feather picking, one much more worse than the other. I found your posts at World Parrot Trust really helpful, but I'd like to be in touch with you as we both try to solve this problem (did you know plucking is very common in Patties, according to my vet), Plus, you have such awesome bird furniture and toys - I feel like I could learn alot from you!
